GOLD is a new one-day arts and music event in Shoreditch. Taking place from lunchtime on Saturday 27th September to the early hours of Sunday 28th, GOLD coincides with the official launch of the Cultural Olympiad and provides an alternative platform for the very best of London and the UK’s arts scene at Shoreditch Town Hall.

GOLD 08 brings the format and fun of a weekend festival in the country to London with more than 50 hours of programmed entertainment across six stages.

GOLD O8 will take place in and around Shoreditch Town Hall. There will be two bars, a cafe and a tea shop in the Town Hall and Brick Lane’s Eastside Bookshop will have a shop on site.

Tickets can be exchanged for wristbands from 12pm on Saturday 27th September at Shoreditch Town Hall, events will start at 1pm. Performances will finish at around 1am with doors closing at 2am. Please be aware that some events are appropriate for over 16s only.

TRANSPORT
By Tube: Old Street and Liverpool Street
By Bus: Routes 5, 22A, 35, 47, 48, 55, 67, 78, 149, 242 and 245 stop nearby.
By Car: Parking is very restricted and mostly metered. We encourage you to come by public transport.

ACCESS
Please note there is no disabled access to the first floor of Shoreditch Town Hall. We can make arrangements for help with wheelchairs etc with prior notice. Please contact us with any questions about access: info@gold08.co.uk.
